Founder & President
Hello! I'm Laith, a rising Junior and the proud president and founder of the Backyard Sports Club. I founded this club for my love of all things sports and the drive to find something to connect the entire student body of my school. Outside of the club, I love participating in a variety of other school clubs, working out, and listening to music. This year I am looking forward to expanding this great club to greatness and helping to establish our club as one of the best on the market.

The Canterbury Backyard Sports Club immediately caught my attention when I was a sophomore in high school. When Laith Abuoqab (President) asked me to become the Vice President of this club, I felt honored. I was so excited to spread my love of sports with the rest of my school. We all deserve breaks from academics where we can gather with friends and play sports with a lot of energy and smiles on our faces. This club provides exactly that. My favorite part of this club is that we were able to relieve stress after the devastation of Hurricane Ian. All in all, I am pleased to say that this club has the most participation with students and faculty and that school spirit is displayed like never before.

Hello! I'm Mr.Morris and I am the commissioner for the backyard sports club. I originally started helping this club, officiating matches, and assisting in school-wide outreach. Over time, I began to realize how great this club truly is, and in the upcoming year, I will help grow this club even more. I truly believe that this club is one of if not the most inclusive and fun clubs in any school. Looking forward to a great year of fun competition!
